Basic Requirement for Clinical Psychologist Degree: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: One year of specialized experience which includes: conducting behavioral health assessments; providing individual and group treatment; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Licensure: A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.

Position Overview

About the Position: This position is located at EVANS ARMY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL IN FORT CARSON, CO in the Psychology Services. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

Duties

  • Screens and interviews patients as well as perform psychological and bio-psychosocial evaluations.
  • Provides timely feedback to internal and external stakeholders regarding consultation findings and recommendations.
  • Provides individual and/or group psychological counseling utilizing a variety of treatment modalities to child, adolescent, and/or adult patients.
  • Uses objective and measurable outcomes to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make adjustments if appropriate for increased compliance and efficacy.
  • Provides definitive diagnoses and formulate behavioral health interventions. Provide crisis intervention for individuals and families undergoing unusual medically related stresses.
