Qualifications & Requirements

In addition to the basic requirements: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing sexual assault advocacy services; 2) Developing and implementing crisis plan of actions and sexual assault assistance plans; 3) Assisting with developing and coordinating command SAPR prevention and awareness campaigns or events; and 4) Conducting education and training sexual assault workshops/seminars. Duties

• You will serve as the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Victim Advocate (VA) performing essential victim advocacy and support duties within the Navy or Marine Corps command, base, or installation.
• You will serve as point of contact for senior management, faculty, or staff regarding sexual assault response programs.
• You will complete risk assessments and documentation for case review, develop reports, information papers, talking points, briefing packages, or other Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) program information for senior leaders.
• You will assist the victim in prioritizing actions and identifying short- and long-term options to support needs and recovery.
• You will provide comprehensive referrals to on-installation and off-installation resources to include victim advocacy, legal, and medical/mental healthcare.
