Basic Requirements for Management Analyst: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing and researching workload processes; developing, planing, and conducting management project studies; and solving problems involving different aspects of medical data. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: human resources, health care administration, and/or management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Position Overview

About the Position: Serves as a Management Analyst for Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System (MEPRS), Management and Manpower Analysis Branch, of the Resource Management Division. This position is located in Ft. Stewart, GA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

  • Validate data integrity and research data issues by interviewing users, operating officials, and supervisory personnel.
  • Analyze reported statistics to ensure data is reasonable and if the data is in line with or represents a variance from historical data.
  • Research and provide justification for personnel and workload outliers on the monthly Narrative submitted to Army MEPRS Program Office, DHA.
  • Collect, assemble, and input workload, man hour, and financial data in support of the MTF, it's outlying clinics, and DENTAC for MEPRS.
  • Generate reports for print or for electronic transfer using File Protocol Transfer (FTP) and import them into excel spreadsheets to organize data for input to EAS.
