In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting dietary assessments and implementing evidence-based nutritional protocols to develop programs that optimize physical readiness and human performance. Duties

  • You will assess and analyze dietary practices, body composition, and energy intake and expenditures of Marine athletes in the context of operational performance and health.
  • You will develop and deliver nutrition education related to supplementation that complies with the Department of Defense (DoD) dietary supplement program.
  • You will develop and deliver nutrition education presentations, demonstrations, or events on topics related to nutrition for performance.
  • You will implement standardized nutrition education with a focus on optimal nutrition recovery from illness or injury and ensure Semper Fit protocols are followed.
  • You will create performance-based digital and educational content such as articles, social media messages, and webinars, and partner with marketing teams to develop resources for public distribution aboard the installation.
