Qualifications & Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-13) or pay band in the federal service, or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing, evaluating and integrating complex data from Human Intelligence (HUMINT) sources to assess the relevance and significance. Providing input and oversight with regards to short and long term strategy for Human Intelligence (HUMINT) operations. Planning and coordinating intelligence activities, resolving conflicts, and interpreting existing policy to make technical or operational decisions necessary to process all-source materials and produce innovative analyses. Preparing discussion items, tailored notes, and recommendations to senior leadership as a representative of the organization. This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: Must be a graduate of a HUMINT certifying course (MOTC, FTC, OTC, DOQC, MAGTF, or an equivalent course). Position Overview

You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist in the Operations Oversight Department of NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY.

Duties

  • You will maintain liaison with high level intelligence professionals at other intelligence agencies and allied countries to provide or obtain information on non-routine problems.
  • You will review intelligence products prepared by other government agencies or other elements of his/her assigned activity and makes changes based on expert judgment and experience.
  • You will Identify critical intelligence gaps, specifies collection requirements to fill gaps, provides new methodologies and techniques for collection applications to eliminate gaps.
  • You will evaluates intelligence collected in response to collection requirements.
  • You will review emerging technologies, trends, and methodologies in order to ensure that intelligence production remains current, efficient, and relevant.
