Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing program planning, program evaluation, system design, requirements analysis, or testing of complex electronic systems. Duties

  • You will assist the Chief Engineer in the management of all department programs, be responsible for proper planning, program scheduling, budgeting, workload priority assignment, and personnel staffing to accomplish the mission of the command.
  • You will maintain technical expertise in the latest technology through continuing professional education and training, symposiums, and serving as a technical liaison with other military activities.
  • You will exercise a high degree of innovation, originality, and sound judgment to initiate and/or implement guidelines and policies to fulfill the mission.
  • You will work to connect the technical staff to higher SSP initiatives and transformations to include Systems Engineering Transformation and keeping technical staff abreast of replacement tools for obsolescence.
  • You will supports and manages the development, implementation, and maintenance of the overall effectiveness of all technical program elements.
  • You will represent the Chief Engineer in duties and activities such as: serving as senior staff assistant/advisor for technical program management, representing the Chief engineer at senior-level executive meetings and technical exchanges, etc.
