Qualifications & Requirements

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Possesses directly related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to operate multiple fitness facilities. The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possession of a Nationally Recognized Basic Fitness Trainer Certification. Applicant meeting the Best Qualifying Criteria/Highly Preferred will be referred to the hiring manager. All other qualified applicants will be referred if requested by the hiring manager. Claimed experience must be verifiable through your resume. Assumptions will not be made.
Position Overview
This position is located at USAG Rheinland-Pfalz - MWR, Mountaineer Fitness Center, Baumholder, Germany. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
Duties
- Assists Facility Manager in the overall management and operation of a fitness facility.
- Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery
- Assists with publicity of programs and events assists with marketing of posters, flyers and other promotional material.
- Issues/receives equipment to authorized users. Assists with the inventory of property.
- Monitors fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate.
