In addition to the basic education requirement, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Enforcing quality assurance plans against contractor operations to guarantee adherence to technical specifications, performance benchmarks, and project schedules. Duties

  • You will direct the program lifecycle for all facility cranes, managing long-range budgeting, strategic equipment acquisitions, and major repair plans.
  • You will supervise and lead quality assurance specialists and technicians, managing work schedules, performance ratings, and professional development.
  • You will act as project manager for major crane procurements and system upgrades, overseeing designs, technical drawings, and contractor execution.
  • You will establish and enforce quality assurance programs, equipment inspection rules, and load testing safety certification protocols.
  • You will serve as the technical contract representative to monitor contractor performance, enforce compliance, and negotiate contract modifications.
  • You will lead engineering investigations into mechanical or electrical equipment failures to determine root causes and design lasting solutions.
  • You will continuously evaluate technology advances in weight handling systems to integrate modern safety, reliability, and maintenance upgrades.
  • You will represent the organization as the lead technical liaison to external stakeholders, equipment manufacturers, and executive leadership.
