This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Position Overview
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Directorate of Emergency Services to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as the Directorate of Emergency Services Chief of Police/Provost Marshal Division.
Duties
- Direct and supervise the law enforcement staff directly or indirectly through subordinate supervisors performing various police functions.
- Develop law enforcement programs and operating plans for the installation.
- Establish training programs within the department to ensure initial training, sustainment training, and training on new policy and law is conducted.
- Evaluate staff actions for adherence to organizational policy, established procedures, and regulations.
