Permanent and legal residents of the US must be citizens of a NATO country, unless authorized to reside in the UK as a dependent of an employee who serves in support of the US Visiting Forces. Eligible applicants must possess a US-issued social security number and be able to provide documentation proving residency status in the UK. Documentation could include PCS Orders, UK Visa, etc. Applicants cannot be 'ordinarily resident'. A person is considered to be 'ordinarily resident' if they have resided in the United Kingdom (UK) for more than 366 days without an affiliation to the US Visiting Forces. Time spent in the UK as an employee, or dependent of an employee, of a US agency serving and supporting the US Visiting Forces (i.e., active duty military, federal civilian, AAFES, Red Cross, one of the contract universities, a military banking facility or federal credit union, or US government contractors) is not counted toward being 'ordinary resident'. In accordance with the Status of Forces Agreement between the US and the UK, British citizens (including UK dual citizens) may not apply for US NAF positions; however, they may be eligible to apply for local national positions on base. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience (Must be supported in resume): Applicant must have experience in responsible clerical or office work in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactory at the grade level of the position. Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows and Excel. Must be at least 18 years of age, hold a high school diploma (or equivalent) and must speak, read, and write English. Must meet specific physical requirements, pass a physical examination, and have required immunizations. Must be able to lift 40 lbs or more and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate, and satisfactory complete installation, state, and national criminal background checks.

About the position: This position is located at the Child Development Center on RAF Croughton. This is a TEMPORARY position with a Not to Exceed Date of 1 year. Duties
- Performs primary substantive clerical work in support of technical administrative management and/or operational requirements. Establishes, updates and maintains office records of various types that may be needed or will assist in the efficient operation of the office. Maintains, purges, and disposes of office records/files in accordance with established regulations and file plan. Makes decisions regarding the adequacy of the content of the transaction rather than the proper procedures to follow. Typical duties include maintaining records, receiving, screening, reviewing and verifying documents; searching for and compiling information and data; providing a central source of information; preparing and/or verifying the validity of documents; preparing and consolidating time and attendance records in accordance with established procedures and performing cash management and accountability duties. Utilizes CYPBMS platform for family files. Monitoring supply and requisitions office supplies, printing support and related materials. Ensures compliance with policies and regulations applicable to Air Force Child and Youth Programs. Performs other related duties as assigned.
