Qualifications & Requirements

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing or evaluating physical or electronic security programs; planning or recommending the installation of multi-layered security systems, such as access control devices, alarm systems; or conducting security assessments and vulnerability testing to ensure compliance and recommend corrective actions. Duties

• You will inspect, analyze, and evaluate electronic security systems, performing appropriate tests to ensure they provide adequate protection.
• You will collaborate with team members and security specialists to design systems that maximize protection while minimizing impact on the daily mission.
• You will coordinate with security system contractors on installation, maintenance, and testing to identify and resolve performance issues.
• You will apply advanced security policy knowledge to serve as a technical expert, developing creative solutions for complex security problems.
• You will coordinate, conduct, and document security vulnerability assessments on electronic systems and unmanned vehicles.
• You will support the design, setup, and certification of new security systems to ensure they integrate with existing layouts and meet all safety standards.
