In addition to basic education requirements, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer, applying engineering/scientific theories, concepts, and practices to lead acquisition, production, integration, or test and evaluation efforts for weapon system projects. Duties
- You will serve as the MK 46 Gun Weapon System (GWS) project manager who oversees acquisition, production, integration, and test and evaluation efforts for the assigned commodity.
- You will work on varied, complex engineering and programmatic issues requiring the application of advanced engineering concepts, theories, and principles for the management of the MK 46 GWS projects.
- You will develop plans and procedures to extend existing knowledge and tests to account for newly emerging ideas and concepts for the assigned GWS.
- You will plan and coordinate design, test, and logistical support with internal and external customers across a broad spectrum of government employees, active duty military, other government organizations, and industry.
