Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes coordinating administrative task within the clinic such as assisting with the development of the annual clinic budget; interviewing applicants for vacant positions; and overseeing personnel schedules. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.

About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Dental, Dental Clinic at Fort Shafter in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
Duties
- Coordinate administrative activities within the clinic.
- Develop clinic's budget for upcoming fiscal year.
- Oversee personnel schedules and leave.
- Prepare administrative policy statements and standard operating procedures.
- Supervises personnel as assigned.
