Position Overview
About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Cyber Command in Fort Meade, Maryland.
Duties
- Serves as the Delivery Division Chief, and subject matter expert (SME) responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of the Advanced Cyber Training and Education Center's (ACTEC) cyber training programs and capability development.
- Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- Directs the integration of multiple training components, including training content, operational exercises, simulations, and system deployments, into coherent, high-impact delivery packages.
- Builds and maintains effective working relationships to facilitate collaboration, information sharing, and integration of delivery efforts.
- Oversees execution of cyber training programs and capability development initiatives to ensure compliance with mission essential standards, DoD policies, and USCYBERCOM guidance.
- Establishes and enforces enterprise standards for Instructional Systems Design, Content Development, Range Operations, Instructor Management, and LMS administration, ensuring all functional areas operate under clearly defined policies and procedures.
