Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band DP-02 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) activities; analyzing and formulating budget estimates, spend plans, and contract schedules; independently utilizing N-ERP to execute funding, monitor multi-year appropriations, and generate reports; preparing critical acquisition documentation, POA&Ms, and/or reclaims, while evaluating execution performance to recommend corrective actions for schedule variances. Duties
- You will performs advanced financial management analysis supporting all phases of budget formulation, justification, execution, and strategic financial operations for organizational programs and activities.
- You will evaluate the financial impact of programmatic decisions, monitors obligations to identify risks or variances, and implements innovative solutions to resolve financial challenges and improve resource utilization.
- You will ensure the development and maintenance of comprehensive audit trails for all budgetary transactions and decisions, providing transparency and accountability for financial operations.
- You will conduct complex financial and program analyses to evaluate costs, benefits, risks, and alternative methods for managing organizational programs and administrative operations.
- You will resolve highly complex issues arising from conflicting program and financial data, particularly within unstable funding environments.
- You will review fnancial reports and accounting data to identify systemic control deficiencies and determines the appropriate corrective actions required.
- You will support internal and external audit activities by reconciling financial system data, validating transactions, and providing documentation to certify the effectiveness of funds control processes.
- You will recommend and implement enhancements to financial reporting systems and processes to improve transparency, accountability, and organizational decision-making.
