Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band DP-02 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing expert technical guidance and performing advanced accounting analysis in support of program initiatives; leading the analysis and resolution of complex and non standard accounting transactions within financial systems; AND analyzing and reconciling budgetary and proprietary general ledger accounts. Duties
- You will lead the analysis and resolution of complex and non-standard accounting transactions with NAVY ERP and other mission-critical financial systems.
- You will identify systemic issues, evaluates transaction integrity, and develop corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
- You will analyze and reconcile budgetary and proprietary general ledger accounts, validating financial balances and identify discrepancies impacting financial reporting.
- You will develop and deliver financial briefings, analyses, and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders, providing recommendations that support decision-making, resources allocation and financial management strategies.
- You will develop and implement improvement to accounting processes, financial data analysis and reporting methodologies where existing guidance is insufficient.
