Qualifications & Requirements

Military Grades: E-3 through E-7 Compatible Military Assignments: 1D7XX SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 36 months or 1-year specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Experience compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Experience using computer and automation systems. Must be certified IAW DoD 8570.01-M, Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002, Clinger Cohen Act of 1996 and obtain Special Experience Identifier 264 IAW current AF directives. Information Assurance - Technical Level II, IAW AF directives.

Position Overview

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a RECORDS & INFO MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD2532000 and is part of the TN 134th ARW Air National Guard. This vacancy is not eligible for membership to a labor organization.

Duties

  • As a RECORDS & INFO MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT), GS-0308-11, you will work with non-homogenous work centers throughout the wing to integrate planning, development and implementation of knowledge programs and systems. Provide guidance to Wing leadership moving the organization towards the implementation of effective knowledge management practices. Manage overall processes for organizations to plan, coordinate, share and control information. Manage the Records Management (RM) and Records Life Cycle Program. Perform other duties as assigned.
