Duties

As an AGENDA DOCUMENT ANALYST some of your typical work assignments include:

  • Applying technical knowledge of regulations, procedures, systems, and organizational requirements to accomplish work accurately and efficiently.

  • Demonstrating thoroughness and attention to detail by carefully reviewing work products to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.

  • Identifying problems, determining their causes, and developing practical solutions.

  • Coordinating workflow priorities, facilitating communication across program offices, and collaborating on Commission-wide systems and processes.

You must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience reviewing complex documents for accuracy; applying federal laws, regulations, and agency policies; coordinating regulatory workflows with multiple stakeholders; evaluating and improving business processes; using automated document management systems; and providing technical guidance on organizational procedures.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including any volunteer experience.

Conditions of Employment
