Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Manage security operations by applying security policies and regulations, 2) Implement security programs, including all aspects of law enforcement, physical security and investigative work and 3) Supervise and lead security personnel. Duties

  • You will administer policy direction and supervision over all security personnel, systems, and operations.
  • You will plan, formulate and implement optimum security programs, including all aspects of law enforcement, physical security and investigative work.
  • You will review and evaluate staff actions for adherence to organizational policy.
  • You will plan for current and long-range operations based workload trends and projected requirements.
  • You will establish objectives for various operating elements and assign responsibilities to subordinates.
  • You will identify problem areas and make necessary changes in policies and procedures to correct deficiencies and to meet short and long-range objectives.
  • You will make selections, promotions, details, and reassignments for positions supervised.
